Drivers Education Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the maximum enrollment?

A: The maximum enrollment requirements for the driving school in Seg I & Seg II is 27 for in-person classes.

Q: Can I still enroll my student once the class is full?

A: No. Unfortunately, the enrollment requirements for the driving school are capped at 27 due to the size of the in-person classes.

Q: Can I enroll my student before turning in all the necessary paperwork?

A: No. The State of Michigan mandates that all enrollment requirements be completed before a student can be enrolled in the driving school class. The student’s spot in the in-person classes will NOT be held until all paperwork is received.

Q: How do I turn in all of the required documents?

A: Everything related to the driving school can be mailed to the C&C Driving School Office at: 12320 Oakland Hills Dr, DeWitt MI 48820. Please remember to check the enrollment requirements before sending any paperwork. Additionally, DO NOT mail paperwork to Blended Learning Academy, as they do not offer in-person classes.

Q: Do you offer online Drivers Education?

A: We do not currently offer online Seg I or Seg II at our driving school. Throughout our experience, we have seen students meet the enrollment requirements more effectively and achieve better results from our in-person classes.

Q: What is the passing percentage for the Seg I and Seg II exams?

A: Both Seg I and Seg II have a passing requirement of 70% or better, as mandated by the State of Michigan. These requirements are part of the driving school enrollment requirements, which also emphasize the importance of in-person classes.

Q: Can the student miss class? Do they have to make it up?

A: Yes to both. If a student misses any class time in our driving school, they will be required to make up the same class session that they missed. For example, if the student missed day 5, they must attend day 5 of the next available segment of in-person classes, as per our enrollment requirements.
