The History of C & C Driving School

Owners of C & C Driving School, Bill Carpenter and Alex Cook have been teaching Drivers Education for over ten years. In 2001, they started C & C Driving School LLC in DeWitt, MI. When Bill and Alex created C &C they envisioned a driving school where the emphasis would be put on educating the students. The purpose of C & C Driving School is to teach and emphasize the academics of traffic safety, while teaching your child to be a safe driver.

In addition to teaching drivers education, both Bill Carpenter and Alex Cook have been teachers in the Lansing School District for over 15 years. Bill and Alex both have graduate degrees.

All of the C & C Driving School instructors are public school teachers. Everyone of our instructors currently has a bachelors degree, while most have their graduate degrees.

Mike Easlick has been a Counselor DeWitt Jr. High for 31 years. Mike has been teaching driver education for the past six years.

Will Carpenter is currently a Junior at Michigan State University. He is currently majoring in Interdisciplinary Social Science, with a specialization in Secondary Education. This is Will's first year teaching driver education. However, he has been working for C & C Driving School since the begining of the school in 2001.

Martin Schaeding has been teaching Industrial Arts at Grand Ledge High School for the past 14 years. Martin has been teaching driver education for four years.

Scott Palmer has been teaching physical education at DeWitt Public Schools for the past 15 years. In addition to teaching at DeWitt, Scott has also been teaching driver education for eight years.
